CAFE-CONCERT
L’Inouï is an intimate acoustic music venue, where you can hear world class music every day ...jazz, world, soul, blues and all kinds of crossover... providing by the way state-of-the-art live recording facilities. Studio recordings will never approximate the experience of LIVE MUSIC.
Our daily live shows and especially our live recording sessions are always an exciting experience both for the artist and the public, allowing viewers the rare opportunity to experience the Musician’s genius up close. All concerts are followed by a casual meet-and-greet with the performing artists offering the possibility to buy an autographed CD or being granted a unique „photo op“.
CAFE-THEATRE
"L'Inouï" does not only host concerts and musicians, but welcomes also actors and theatre performances. Once or twice a year, the venue stages an own production written for "L'Inouï" by a contemporary author in the Luxembourg language. Enhanced with music especially composed, sets and costumes especially designed, the "Inouï" theatre productions are often sold out.
"L'Inouï" also invites regularly guest productions in German, French, English or Luxembourgish, proposing thus a rich and diversified program of plays, as well as of "café-théâtre". Known in German as "Kabarett", the "café-théâtre" presents a witty and satirical analysis of politics and society, and this with texts and songs. This art form has a particularly interested and faithful public in Luxembourg.
CAFE-RESTAURANT
The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner. Gourmets of meat and fish, as well as sworn in vegetarians will find many pleasures in our large menu; we offer a wide choice of international modern cuisine and use only fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. Among the specialities of the restaurant are some unique traditional Austrian culinary titbits like Wiener Schnitzel, Käsespätzle or Tafelspitz as well as the Chef’s delicious Viennese homemade desserts.
Food and drinks are not served during the performance so if you wish to eat we recommend that you arrive an hour earlier. In the evening, the kitchen opens at 6.30pm so reservations are not needed.
